The room and location was beautiful. Stepping outside, you are right on the beach. The seating available on the property is perfect for watching the sunset, or simply take a few steps to the boardwalk. The only downside is that there was absolutely no hot water in the shower so my showers were lukewarm at best everyday. Shower pressure is decent. Gets noisy at night due to being next to the discotech but stops around 2am.

What a gem

Monkey Lala is a great place to stay if you want beachfront property in El Tunco. The rooms are well taken care of and the patio space is abundant. The only thing I would say is make sure you bring some earplugs or noise cancelling headphones as it gets quite loud on fridays and Saturdays with the discotec right next to the property. If you can get past that small thing, its totally worth the stay. Wonderful.
