The property is amazing, surrounding nature anywhere you look. Perfect place for a short stay, not much to do out of the hotel grounds. The bar and the restaurant have great food and drink options, not very pricey (drinks are $10-12, main dishes $15-$30 in Dec 2023).

Villa Blanca is a fantastic, eco friendly resort located in a cloud rain forest. Extremely customer service focused team, led by Marco E. and staff. Tucked away, a long bumpy road to get back there. Once there very quiet small resort and very friendly staff. Not so many people, more older adults on our trip. Restaurant on site was excellent, very reasonable prices. Fireplaces in the room was a nice touch for a very rustic experience.

What an incredible experience! The best staff ever everyone super friendly and helpful! They made our anniversary night super especial! From the spa to dinner to breakfast the best experience! The room was in good condition, but things were old, but it was clean and it was comfortable. Had a nice fireplace. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The restaurant was OK. Dinner was all right. Breakfast was fine however, the hotel is located in a very remote area and to get there, we had to travel on a very steep narrow curvy road that took us a very long time and then as we made the turn to get to the hotel, the road was unpaved and filled with potholes and really craters, and the 4 miles took us nearly an hour to travel so we arrived to the hotel is in the cloud forest. It was totally fogged in. We could barely see it. Luckily, there were some lights on. It was rainy, drizzly, foggy and chilly. I think it has a beautiful views if the clouds were to clear, but they didn’t during the time we were ther The landscaping around the hotel looks very lovely but again we couldn’t really walk around because it was. it was too foggy , damp and drizzly. The hotel was expensive and I don’t think that it was really a good value for the money we paid for it. We wouldn’t return here.
