What i did not like, is that the check in staff, was rude, impolite, refused to change my room, although it had an unbearable smell, this after a 5hour delay and arriving in middle of the night, that the check inn guy, threatened to throw me out, if i would not stay in that room, that i was giving him problems, that he was just the night manager and would not change the room with him having the risk of ending up paying for that other room ! After 20 min of discussion with him and him refusing to go the room and smell for himself..him calling the security...i decided to leave, although room fully paid for 3 nights, I went to another nearby hotel, where they were fully understanding, even gave me 1 free night of stay. Even customer service of Expedia was amazed by the terrible customer service, the refusal of a refund and so on.
It was the most terrible attitude i have experienced in my 20 years of travel trough expedia. Within the company I work for , there is now a NO booking policy for Hyatt San Pedro sula. You would be amazed to know, how much they are financially missing out on. Appearantly, they just dont care.....
