    We had a disappointing experience with our booking, as we were anticipating our stay but did not receive the expected instructions on accessing the property. Despite driving from Guatemala City to Panajachel, we never received the necessary information from the host, who was unresponsive. Another review highlighted a similar issue, leading us to question the host's reliability. We reported the incident to VRBO and obtained a refund, but the overall experience was subpar and not ideal for a vacation.

    My reservation got cancelled as I was arriving to the property at 5:22 the day of checking in. me and the rest of my family (16 members) had to scramble to find another place without any large amounts of cash, as my refund didn't take place immediately, i have no words to describe our experience- we were left stranded in a foreign country with not many options,
