This was easily the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room itself was not terrible in layout, but it seemed like it had not been occupied or cleaned in years. Dust covered the furniture and surfaces, and the bedding and towels were stained and in desperate need of replacement. To make matters worse, no regular cleaning services were offered during my stay.
I arrived on a Sunday night to loud music that played until 1 a.m., only to be awakened the next morning by construction noise starting around 8 a.m. Loud sawing, hammering, and general chaos continued nonstop until 5 p.m. every single day. It quickly became clear that the hotel is undergoing major renovations, making it feel like I was staying on a construction site.
The worst part of my stay, however, was the dirty water. For the entire week, the water from both the tap and the toilet was yellow and smelled awful. I ended up showering and brushing my teeth elsewhere and used the hotel only for sleeping.
Perhaps most disappointing of all, none of these issues were communicated by the front desk. The staff seemed oblivious or indifferent to the fact that guests were being subjected to construction noise, poor hygiene, and contaminated water.
I would strongly advise avoiding this hotel until all renovations are complete and the basic standards of cleanliness, comfort, and honesty are restored.
