We had a great stay at Las Terrazas. Everyone was very friendly, the resort itself had tons to do and we generally didn’t want to leave!

The staff is amazing! All, with no exceptions, were extremely welcoming, kind and willing to help. - They rent golf carts right there in their premises, which although much more expensive, is convenient and comes with fuel and taxes included in their price. - They’ve got a convenient pick-up/drop off service from the San Pedro airport; their staff was very polite as well. - Las Terrazas is a small boutique hotel. They offer turn-down service, a spa, but there’s NO gym. - The décor of the suite is badly planned. The room had a very high king size bed (I’m 5’2” and it was difficult to climb into it), just one night table beside the bed, a big plastic covered armchair, the second night table was at a corner near the window. The large TV set was hanging from the ceiling, making the room look like a roadside motel. The bathroom was dark, with just one hook for all the towels and wet bathing suits. The shower box was partially blocked by the toilet and there was no place to put the shampoo, shower gel, soap bar, etc. so everything had to be put on the floor. Walk-in closet was good but the large kitchen was a waste of space. - The beach is a man-made one, with grey sand, and the sea water is grayish brownish, not appealing at all. Lastly I must say that it's not a 4.5* resort, 3.5* at the most because of the staff.
