My husband and I stayed here for a week and found it to be the perfect retreat for two people. The main bedroom is quite compact and doesn't have a wardrobe, but there is one in the adjoining room, which also contains a single bed. As the bathroom is accessed through this room, it could be less convenient if three people were staying, but for the two of us it worked perfectly. There is a single air conditioning unit in the main living area rather than in the bedrooms, but thanks to the thick stone walls of the Trulli, the property stayed wonderfully cool, even in temperatures of 36C.The owner welcomed us with a bottle of his own olive oil, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch that made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The outside space is a real highlight. The grounds are spacious, peaceful, and very private, with plenty of seating, a useful outdoor sink, a BBQ, and even a hammock for relaxing. The Trulli itself is full of character, but it's worth noting that the original uneven stone flooring may require extra care if you have mobility issues.A car is essential as the property is in a rural location, but that's part of its charm. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return. It's an ideal choice for a couple looking for a peaceful getaway.
