The cleanliness of the property was not up to par for the price of the room stay, I paid close to $700 for 2 rooms per night. Both rooms had cleanliness issues, such as soiled sheets and stained duvet. When I went to get new sheets and Duvet I was encountered with the hotel “GM” Tom, whom unfortunately was inebriated while on the clock and unable to understand my concerns with soiled sheets and unclean rooms. Fortunately, Ryan was called in for reinforcement and was able to help me get clean sheets and duvet. I went back downstairs to pick up my pizza order and was stunned to find Tom the “GM” sitting at the bar with a nice vodka soda enjoying the game with other patrons. This stay was beyond disappointing. I have pictures.

The hotel was nice and clean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating allowing us to check in early. Breakfast was nice. Hot eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, pancakes, waffles, pastries. The only thing I wish I would have know before our stay was that there is a homeless hotel next to the oaks. There was no homeless at the oaks but we had to drive extra careful, especially at night because they were in the street.

Awesome hotel! Loved the room, beds are comfy, shower great, mini fridge and coffee maker too! Breakfast is a good variety and there is a bar there too (beer and wine). It is near the freeway entrance but you cannot hear anything. Very quiet. About 5 minutes from Downtown Paso Robles.

It is an average hotel, nothing fancy, but clean and fairly comfortable. It is an older property but they have tried to maintain it. Staff was friendly. There were a few people hanging around down the street who appeared homeless. That made me feel a bit unsettled and worried about the car, etc. It is freeway adjacent so good access, but about three miles from the main square. I would not seek it out as an option again but if it was all that was available would stay there.

This is our first stay here. It is a 3-star hotel. The lobby is inviting. Complimentary tea, coffee, and cookies! Nice touch! A small gift shop with snacks and local attractions brochures. I actually bought three bottles of olive oil to support the local production. Our room is located on the second floor. It’s quiet at night. Elevator works well; appreciate the water bottle filing stations by the elevator. Disappointed that my room key didn’t work on the door by the elevator. I saw guests soaking in the hot tub by the pool. The room is clean, love the bed! The AC works fine proving comfortable temperature. Bathroom is clean, but the water pressure is too much that we had to turn on the faucet and the shower to adjust the water flow; otherwise it shoots down like garden hoses!! Love the slippers ( first time seeing this in a hotel! Thanks so much!) and the bath robes! Now, the not so good things: There are some stains on the couch; the floor upon entering the room was sticky. Parking was easy. Staffs are friendly. Breakfast was satisfactory.

Prior to checking in, you will receive email reminders to complete the check in form prior to your stay. I would recommend you do this to make the process quicker. The hotel is located off of the Hwy 46 exit towards the Fairplex side of the freeway. It's actually very walkable to the Fairplex. I would guess about 3-4 blocks away. The hotel is located in a very isolated part of town and has very low lighting leading up to it. There's a Napa Auto Parts, Grocery Outlet, Carl's Jr. & McDonalds across the street. Driving up gave me an uneasy feeling, but luckily we are in Paso and for the most part, it's safe. I also saw a few RV's parked about a block or 2 down the street. They will put a $100 hold on your card for incidentals. You are given a card (one for each guest) for your breakfast that you will have to show every morning you decide to dine there. It's held right across the check in desk. This used to be their restaurant prior to Covid but has since closed down because they could not afford to keep paying the employees there.. It's buffet style and pretty ordinary. It's ok. I think the Oxford has better breakfast offerings as they can make omelettes on request. Not sure if the quality has gone down or what, but the reviews made it sound like it was fantastic. We had a 1 king bed and the room itself is clean and pretty spacious.
