staff was nice. But the smell of CURRY in the lobby and in the rooms was unfortunate. My room was on the 2nd floor and it also smelled like strong curry/BO. I really didn't want to write a bad review but you cannot run a hotel like this. I booked for 3 nights but checked out within 30 minutes after checking in; it was that BAD! I was also charged for the night although I cancelled within 30 minutes of arriving.

Stayed before and enjoyed my stay. Mostly quiet and close to the Embarcadero. I was in what seems like a more recently renovated room which was nice. No maid service here on the regular though, if you want or need more towels and things you're going to have to go ask for them. They close lobby at 10pm so if other guests are loud or you have any issues with your room it will be hard getting assistance. After I checked out this time I got a call asking for their floor mat back. I never had one in my room and I thought that was strange. All in all for the price during the week it's still a decent place to be. During the weekend though with the peak pricing & what is offered I think you would get better value elsewhere.

This was our second time at Rockview Inn. It is a solid quality establishment, has everything that we need when traveling with our dog. It is not luxurious by any means but you certainly get your price's worth of amenities. The owner/ manager is very personable and friendly.

1st they didn’t find my reservation and gave me the last room and it was not good. The rest room and shower were on a step up it was hard to balance when wiping and done with your necessity. The shower was hard to balance in and out of shower especially my husband because he’s 6.4 you can imagine that because we have a bottom room. Then I couldn’t put my make up because the lighting on the sink was not working and all rusted, it was dark to take a shower. Thank God I only stay one night but it was bad so all I say if your renting and asking for all that amount then check and fix your rooms people.
