Don't bother calling ahead to ask about amenities
This was hands down the worst experience I've had at Carlton. First of all we called to ask if they had jacccuzi tubs in the rooms. Advised us which rooms had them we then booked the room suggested. On arrival the room was not anything to write home about and they painted the rooms two tone and hues of the mosr uncomfortable greens. I feel they took out the original wallpaper onthe elevator amd it just ruined the ambiance. Oh and not to mention the Jacuzzi tub was broken and the jets literally fell out of the tub and never even worked at all. When we advised the front desk he would not accommodate the issue and said 3rd party booking have to go thru the 3rd party for a refund. So I will be doing somin my very little spare time that I do have in my busy life to get accommodated for the lack of the hotels working amenities. And to boot when we checked out they acted like nothing was wrong and that we never complained about anything the night before. I will not stay at the Carlton until this is resolved or refunded or my account has a credit for the amount of the room cost that night. How can you rent someone a room claiming working Jacuzzi tub knowing we called and rented specific for that reason and then give us a.room with a non working tub and act like you had no idea it was not functioning ... And sad part is this place is in a remodel phase and whoever designed is not someone I would ever hire for my interior decorating... Yuck yuck and more yuck this experience was bad
