Customer Service/Food ill Guest

Unfortantly our experience was horrible. Food at the restaurant was so oily, no flavor, and not what was beibg promoted for $35. We purchased 3 beers @ $8 there were so hot like they were just stocked..I requested a cup with a few ice cubes since the beer was undrinkable and it was served in a cup that had a bug in the cup. Never once was either the young lady orvthe young man who attended us apoligized or called for a manager to further disvuss. Instead they were looking for excuses and walked away from the bar area completely. Food was barely touched. Customer Service was poor. No one offered to replace the beer or apologize for the food that was so dark from the old oil. I also asked why wasn't receipt showing the $17.50 credit they offer credit that was offered she could'nt explain. You are charged $45 for amenities, but they don't take into consideration check in time is at 4 and due to lateness & weather who actually enjoys the small pool they offer. Sky high rate and that fee doesn't even include 2 complimentary water in the room. We exited the hotel and found a restaurant right across the street who appreciated our business and provided amazing customer service and greet food for 50% less the cost. Last thing when we made our way back to our room very disappointing when we called front desk and asked if they can send someone to assist us with a bottle opener as our kitchen did not provide one, there response was come down and will open them for you. Horrible.

There were leaks all around the property causing my room to feel moldy and everything felt like a wet feeling, like the towels, the sheets, the bed, and a bad humid smell. I also did not like being surprise with the $45 daily resort fee, I already paid an expensive fee for this room so this “fee” is ridiculous when I did not need the restaurant credit or bar. I will never book this hotel again because of that fee, no need when other tons of hotels don’t charge this fee.

Excellent location and atmosphere

This hotel was extremely clean, conveniently accessible, and had a very laid-back vibe. I would recommend it for anyone seeking a central location to travel from on the island. It is conveniently located near all the major attractions in San Juan and numerous restaurants.

Near and easy to get to from airport. Definitely family friendly with varied options for breakfast. Kids enjoyed outdoor pools. Room was clean and staff was friendly and helpful.

The pillows are way too soft and are NOT supportive. Our room also smelled very stale. It took 3 phone calls to get items we asked for. Great breakfast, and bar food. Great service. Jorge is great! Great location. Room service would be great!

The ambiance in the lobby is beautiful the pool was nice and so were the drinks at the bar. The staff were welcoming and nice as well. The only issues were the room amenities, the bathroom smelled like sewage and had mold on the wall, lighting switch, and rims of the sink. When I ran the shower the toilet started to make bubbling noises and we could see the bubbles constantly jumping. There was rust on almost everything metal in the room, the cabinet handles in the bathroom and the lamps. It smelled like dust and mold in the room once we turned the AC down and couldn’t really do anything about it. I also reserved a king sized bed and got a connecting room with a full or queen sized, I would know because I have a king sized bed at home. There were also brown droppings of things under the sheets that I also took photos of. I would say the property “looks” appealing downstairs but the rooms aren’t the best quality.
