The Royal Sonesta exceeded my expectations. The property is super clean, the staff was friendly / extremely helpful, and it's in the perfect location. You can find authentic food within walking distance and the airport is just minutes away. The beach is clean and the water is clear. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Puerto Rico.

The room was clean but not spotless, there was still hair in the shower from previous guests and a lot of dust around the little fridge area and the coffee machine didnt work. The room had a humid smell, not dirty but you could tell there was a weird smell. The staff was courteous. And the location was really nice. There is different dining options on site and bars with excellent drinks. I wish the pool was heated but it was still nice and clean. I really enjoyed the little restaurant along the beach and the towel service asl well. Overall it was a nice stay.

We were never given a full property run down/exclamation - so we found out where things were and what was happening as days went on. We were never informed of how much the breakfast buffet was as we missed a la carte breakfast by minutes. Paid F&B options are expensive and sometimes without informing you the price. A bottle of Champagne that we ordered was $215 dollars; when the day before I paid $100 off property at the T Mobile District. Bit of a slap in the face to not inform guests and/or have a menu price available. Our room was lovely, BUT - the bathroom kept flooding when we showered. The faucet - made more of a mess than it was useful. We left the property three times out of our four day stay, never once did valet services or a bell man offered to help us. The housekeeping team, while they would change our towels - they didn't change the linen. We noticed this on day three when unfortunately my wife PJ's bled/stained the sheets from the night prior. With that being said the nicest person and recognized us out of our stay was Joseph the bartender at the pool bar. 5 stars for him!

A band was playing at night but all I heard in our room was the base-boom boom boom. The manager refused to come to our room to check it out nor to turn down the base or music. It was not a good holiday at a premium price.

The employees are friendly and the property is very clean. The available food on the property is good but not fancy. There is a gravel pathway between the pool and the ocean..... kinda rough on the feet. I would give 4.5 stars but this website only allows whole ones.

The room was clean, comfortable bed, we had an ocean side view with amazing sunsets. The beach was clean the water was warm and the guys were ready to set up an umbrella without wait. The staff were so helpful, friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be coming back!
