A great spot

The villa was very clean, well equipped and comfortable for our extended family, including 2 year old grandchild. The covered porch and roof deck spaces were wonderful for hanging out, eating meals and napping. A nice supply of beach toys, masks, etc. were provided, along with tennis racquets (though the community tennis court was in petty rough shape). Easy access to the beach for walking, and swimming after a short walk. Access is through a locked beach gate and across the street--the house and Solimar community felt very safe. It's a lovely quiet community and the villa, being the end unit among low-rise townhouses, provided a wonderful sense of privacy and exposure on three sides. Christophe was very responsive and helpful. We would easily return for a longer stay if we have the chance.

A wonderful house in a great location! Very short walk to a beautiful swimming beach (protected by coral from the waves that were big while we were there - the waves at La Pared beach made the beach too dangerous to swim but the swimming beach closer to the house was perfectly safe). The beach right in front of the house is perfect for walking or sunbathing, but the water was rough while we were there so better to walk a little further to the safe swimming beach. The house is modern and well maintained and has all the amenities including a BBQ on the patio and a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge with big screen TV for watching movies after a long day at the beach. The house is in a gated community so we never worried about theft or safety while we were there. Checking in was easy, there’s a lockbox by the front door so arriving late on your first day is not a problem.

Perfect location but read the 'fine print'

Perfect location to stay practically on the beach BUT not mentioned in the 'about' is there is no direct beach access from the condo after 9:30 pm and before 6:30 am. The host was very kind and accomodating when the pool was not available to do a planned repair which we did not find out until we arrived but still a disappointment for our group to have chosen this location specifically to be so close to the water. Security advised us not to go around the gate due to the safety of the neighborhood. Perhaps this location is best for families who feel they need the security of a gated community and don't plan to wander onto the beach after dark.
