Casa Terra Porto #7 is a private 1-bedroom apartment on the second floor, for up to four guests, in Puerta de Tierra between Old San Juan and Condado. The bedroom has a king bed and a Smart TV; the large living room has a sofa bed and a second Smart TV. There is one bathroom, air conditioning and fast WiFi. The apartment is on the second floor and is reached by stairs, so guests must be able to climb stairs and carry their own luggage.
The full kitchen has a full-size refrigerator, an electric stovetop, a microwave, a coffee maker, cookware, plates and utensils. There is no oven.
The apartment is yours alone. You'll share the rooftop terrace, with 180-degree views of San Juan Bay, and the back patio with other guests.
Free private parking for one car is in our lot across the street, reserved for our guests only (spaces are unassigned). The property has a full backup generator (under repair until October 31, 2026; see the note below), a water cistern and a solar water heater, WiFi covers the whole property, and shared coin-operated laundry is available ($3 to wash, $3 to dry).
Nearby: El Escambrón Beach (0.7 mi), Convention Center and Distrito T-Mobile (1 mi), Old San Juan (1.5 mi), Condado (2.5 mi), plus Miramar, La Placita de Santurce and the airport by car or rideshare. Travel times vary with traffic.
GUEST ACCESS
The whole apartment is private for you. You'll share the rooftop terrace, the back patio and the laundry area with other guests; the San Juan Bay views are from the shared rooftop. Free private parking for one car is in our lot across the street, reserved for our guests only (spaces are unassigned). Entry instructions are sent to confirmed guests before arrival.
Security: exterior security cameras monitor the entrance, the street, the rooftop entry and the common areas. There are no cameras inside the apartment.
INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
We respect your privacy and are always available through Vrbo messages if you need anything during your stay. Message us with questions about arrival, parking, laundry service, luggage storage or late checkout. On-site staff are available until 2:00 PM daily; anything reported after that is handled as soon as possible. For urgent issues, use the contact information in your check-in instructions.
OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE
Please note: Casa Terra Porto's backup generator is temporarily out of service due to a mechanical issue. Repairs may continue through October 31, 2026. During this time, no backup power will be available if the utility company interrupts the electricity supply. Please consider this before booking. We do not offer discounts or refunds for utility power outages, except where required by the booking platform's policies or applicable law.
Included in your stay:
- Fresh linens and towels, including one bath towel and one beach towel per guest.
- Starter toiletries and paper goods (soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and sponge); they are not restocked during the stay.
- 2 bottles of water in the fridge on arrival.
- Beach chairs and a stroller, free on request.
Optional services:
- Extra daybed: $20, on request.
- Laundry service by our staff: 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, $25 per load, including washing, drying and detergent, subject to staff availability. Outside those hours, the shared coin-operated machines are self-service ($3 to wash, $3 to dry).
- Luggage storage before check-in or after checkout in the shared office, subject to space. Request the code through Vrbo. Storage is at your own risk; please keep valuables with you.
Check-in is from 4:00 PM. Checkout is at 11:00 AM. Late checkout is subject to availability, for a fee of $45, until 2:00 PM at the latest. Please request it in advance.
Pets are welcome (1 pet maximum); please let us know when you book. Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment, hallways or entrance; it is only permitted on the rooftop or in the street.
