Fantastic place to stay for a big family with kids. The rooms were very comfortable with air conditioning in each bedroom and sitting room, and the kitchen was very well stocked with a wide variety of cooking tools, pans, and utensils. We very much enjoyed that this unit is near the gate end of the resort with a very nice grocery-convenience store just half a block away. The closets had a variety of toys and sport equipment to use at the resort’s mini-golf course and pools. The pools and surrounding garden walks were a big highlight for our family, and we spent many hours swimming and walking through the many paths along the pools.

The property complex itself was very well maintained. The pools were great, beach was nice. It is not in a very great area, not walkable, trouble finding good local restaraunts. our specific unit could use some upgrades. It lacked basic things like oven mitts, laundry baskets, dish drying towels.

Our family of 3 adults and 3 young children had a wonderful week at Aquatika Escape. The host was very responsive to all our questions before and during our stay. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped. It was especially nice to have laundry washer and dryer. The pools were amazing- we enjoyed them all. The entire complex was beautifully landscaped. The private beach was very nice. It would have been nice to have a dishwasher because we did a lot of cooking.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect and made it very convenient to get to everything we wanted to do—beaches, the rainforest, and nearby restaurants. The place was very comfortable and had plenty of space and activities for our kids, which made traveling as a family much easier.Communication with the host was great, and they were very accommodating when we lost power one morning and kindly allowed us to stay a little later so we could get organized for our return trip. That flexibility was a huge help and very much appreciated.Overall, a great stay and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We had a great stay. Very comfy. Ac wasn’t on in some of the rooms upon arrival but no biggie. One room was supposed to have a full size and a twin size bed but only had two twins. So that was unexpected kind of threw off our roomSituation but we figured it out. Overall. Would stay again.

Great unit and location for Family Vacation

Positives-We rented a van for our family, 2 grandparents, daughter and three grandkids 10-13. It was easy to get to, gated, lots of pools and private beach. We were outside most of every day; water slides are open on the weekends so we planned to be there, toured Old San Juan, citied the Portal and hiked at El Yunque rainforest, which was beautiful and you could see the mountains from our place, drove to Luquillo Beach for a day of miles Long Beach and quieter surf, drove to the east coast and took a water taxi to a private island to snorkel and hike. All were 15-45 minutes away so a perfect central location. We all loved all the wildlife, parakeets, iguanas… and activities we did. The place was comfortable for our group and any issues Kevin responded very quickly. The vita blender was a bonus for smoothies. We did prepare a lot of meals there. All of the staff were very professional and pleasant. We used the beach chairs and cooler and boogie board. Places to improve- For six people we need six bowls, plates…could have used a toaster, two hot pads and a kitchen scissors. Know you have to supply extra garbage bags, TP, paper towels. We left our extras we purchase but there was one of each when we got there. There is a small store close and a bigger one a few block away. Yes, the kitchen needs updating but it functioned just fine. Would have loved to use the mini putt golf course but had no putters? Thank you for one of the best vacations yet Puerto Rico. Will stay again!

Great family friendly resort

The aquatika resort is excellent. Its close to old san juan, el yunque and plenty of beaches. There were 4 pools, a lazy river, a water slide, walking paths, and access to a nice beach. The house was clean and well maintained. Loiza (the town) seems to be still recovering from hurricane maria but there were convenience stores and some places to eat. Very good for families!

Family spring break trip

We had a lovely time- the apartment is clean and had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. There were very few options for restaurants close by, so the well stocked kitchen was a real plus.
