The hotel is perfectly fine for a night if you get in late or have an early flight the next day. The room was a decent size. There was only soap and no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom. The restaurant was nice and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the area is quite sketchy, and I think we would have been better off either staying right by the airport, or going into San Jose. We were kept up all night by barking dogs and were startled around 3am by what sounded like gun shots.

What a beautiful little gem in the middle of the city. The rooms were very clean and spacious, and the beds were incredible. The pool was also gorgeous. We ate at the onsite restaurant, and the service was spectacular. The food was good but not the best I've had. Shampoo, etc. in the shower would have been a plus but that is the only drawback for me! Great place and a great price.

Villa San Ignacio was delightful. Christopher took very good care of us at the restaurant where the food was delicious. The rooms were very quaint and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and include many lush trails. We will definitely stay here again.
