Would've rated higher except room was nowhere as nice as they show in photos. And since we were checking in late, I'd requested and received confirmation of extra towels in our room. There were none. Apart from these two issues, we had a restful stay.

My room was large and classic with many windows facing a beautiful garden with mountains in the distance; a full bathtub in front of another big window, and a large patio; the property had lovely trails and many beautiful birds; and the food was excellent (with friendly staff)

We enjoyed the grounds and restaurant very much! Good food and lots of birds in the morning. Dinner was one of the best meals we had in Costa Rica! Staff was great and handed us umbrellas when we drove in during a downpour. Close to airport as well.

From the front gate guard to the front desk and restaurant staff- everyone was super kind and helpful! The Villa property is absolutely gorgeous. The trail through the forest was beautiful and you’re able to see all kinds of birds. The restaurant had great food. Would 10/10 recommend staying here!

Best hotel in San Jose!

I felt so welcome the moment I walked onto the property. It’s a very secure place and I felt very safe, especially as a female, solo traveler. The check in was very easy and the kind security guard helped me to my room. Jennifer (I believe her name is) is extremely sweet and made sure I had everything I needed for my stay. Everyone was so nice! The restaurant staff is so attentive and very efficient with the food orders. I was so happy to enjoy the free breakfast, the pool, and the wonderful room. Everything was very clean and organized. I wish to return soon! This will be my first choice for hotels in San Jose :) Muchas gracias!!
