Location was great. Always had parking. Very quiet. Staff were friendly and very polite. We chose a room with a kitchenette and although I thought the room to be on the smaller side, it worked out perfectly. Ice maker in the fridge freezer was a pleasant surprise. I have to say that I really enjoyed the breakfast. Great, well thought of options. Most hotel breakfasts are too salty for my taste but this was perfect. I would definitely comeback to this location.

At check-in the man who assisted was short and didn't explain parking permit until I recieved a ticket and had to go in (same man at checkout) The check-in experience was not a good experience. However the rest of the stay was excellent. Bed was so comfortable and room was exceptionally clean. The housekeeping manager lady Esmerelda was exceptionally helpful, polite and gave the Hotel a 5+ rating. Thank you for the overall experience, but I would definitely RE Train the counter gentleman. He was not good at all. Left me in the dark and not helpful, by getting on the phone in the middle of my check in and left me standing there with many questions.

There’s not much around within walking distance. There’s an Italian restaurant we ate at (the food was good, by the way) and an Indian place we didn’t try. There’s no shopping nearby, and a lot of the buildings around the hotel seemed empty, which was kind of weird. That said, the hotel had a full breakfast in the morning, in general, this hotel worked great for us! If we ever come back to San Jose, we’d definitely stay here again.
