Sweet little hotel, but really noisy. It's by a busy road, and the doors have gaps around the edges, so you hear all the road noise (and we were pretty fast back). Also, the walls are really thin. The first night, we heard the girls talking next door really clearly, until I knocked on the wall. Also, the beds were not fabulous.
However, the outdoor kitchen in the back was really lovely! It was a great place to unwind at the end of the day. And though we had a rental car, it was nice to be able to walk into town for dinner. Overall, a good budget base camp for the Arenal Volcano.
