Ideally located hotel close to bus stations

Well located hotel in the city. After closure of the shops streets empty in 15 mins time. Comfortable bed and shower for a good night's sleep. Friendly staff.

Communication from hotel was very prompt and reliable. For my midnight arrival they aoocmodated my airport transportation and the driver went out of his way to get me colones in the middle of night as the airport ATM didn’t work. Sketchy neighborhood but for $35 a night for my 5 hr sleep it’s more than what I expected.

The hotel has a nice old fashioned feel with high ceilings, tiled floors and wooden banisters. The location makes for a peaceful nights sleep, with the occasional motorcycle noise from outside, or the doorbell being rung. The room was spacious and had an en-suite bathroom.

Quiet and near bus station to Caribbean coast

Very nice administration. Took uber from airport to this hotel because it was close to the bus station (called Terminal Atlantico Norte) for the Mepe buses that go to the Caribbean coast (Limon, Cahuita, Puerto Viejo, Manzanillo). No frills, but clean, comfortable, and convenient.

Very close b+b for major bus stations but unfortunately the local area is not so good. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. It run by a lovely family who are very helpful

Nice Basic Bed n Breakfast

Pretty basic bed and breakfast, not the best part of town but convenient. Within walking distance of the main San Jose bus terminal and a quick taxi ride to the airport. Friendly staff.

Best value and clean!!!

I can't say enough positive about this place! Safe, clean , quiet! The beds were perfectly clean. The bathrooms were perfectly clean. I felt like I was staying at a family members home it was so safe and comfortable. The staff were sweet as pie. And the breakfast, it made the value portion of this hotel off the charts. If I am ever in San Jose again I will be staying here!

Nice hotel close to bus stops.

This is a nice little hotel that is situated in an area that at night can be not-so-nice, but my family and I always felt safe in the hotel and sticking to the main street at sun-down. Plenty of food options close by. Basic but delicious breakfast. Rooms are small but very clean and extremely affordable. I have already booked my next stay.

Great location, good value,

we stayed at Hotel Sure on our first and last night in Costa Rica. Conveniently located to the bus stations leaving for Caribbean and Pacific cities. Supermarkets and Sodas are nearby. Rooms were clean, staff is very friendly, breakfast is cooked to order which was really nice. Rooms stay cool, Wi-Fi works and you will have 2,3 American TV channels as well.

No one knows this hotel. There was no shuttle at the airport. When I finally got there, I was created by a warm smile. My bags were taken up. Room was modest. Bathroom was very clean. Breakfast was amazing. They let me leave my suitcase in the room while roamed the city while waiting on my shuttle

bad experience

there is no free parking in this hotel , I called 1 day before arriving as the hotel states unfortunately when I arrive they asked me to leave my car in another place (on the street) just because the person I talked, did not inform it to the night shift guy.

Good stay

Great breakfast and wifi. 10 minutes walk to Merced park. I had neighbours watching TV until 1am. The owner was very sympathetic but could not stop them and moved me to a quiet room the next day. Highly recommended.
