This hotel is located in a rural area, is quiet and has nice gardens and small pool. The rooms are spacious, but the lighting is horrible all fluorescent white bulbs, no dimmers… not very cozy or relaxing!

This is an amazing place specially for a romantic getaway, in the middle of a rainy forest with plenty of trees and plants, we love it and definitely we recommend it.

I only stayed one night before heading to another city, but I wish I could have stayed longer! The room was so big and spacious and very clean. The bathroom was also big and spacious and clean. The outdoor shower option was a treat! Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very nice and friendly. The infinity pool was lovely, not too big, but just fine for a dip. Many hammocks for relaxing under the trees. I will be back!

This hotel is the perfect spot for your first day or last day in Costa Rica. The property was beautiful with lots of birds, and had a great pool and restaurant/bar. They offer shuttle service for a fee to the airport - we booked one at 4:45 a.m. The staff was so kind and helpful - one staff member let me use her personal cell phone when mine wouldn't work. I was also allowed to help her pluck a mango out of a tree with a long fruit picker - she then cut it up and offered it to us to enjoy! Thank you! Very relaxing stay.

My friends and I stayed in this hotel to explore the Central Valley and the location is perfect. The staff is friendly and helpful. We loved their breakfast options including fruit, scrambled eggs, fresh corn tortillas, rice and beans. We ate dinner there one night and it was very good. One of my friends had a beef dish and I just wanted a plate of vegetables, which was delicious. If you decide to stay here, consider bringing ear plugs as planes fly over the hotel occasionally throughout the night. We all thought the beds and pillows were too firm. Even with these issues, we would stay there again because of the amazing staff.

It is a beautiful, clean, modern boutique hotel. The staff was amazingly kind and the owner was very attentive to make sure everything was in order. The internet signal is not very good, so if you're counting on working during your holidays, I would take that into account. There is internet, it's just somewhat unstable. I loved the hotel, I wish I had had more time to enjoy, since I was there for only two nights.

Nice little hotel with restaurant and pool

Very nice small place to stay for a night or two, nice room and comfy bed, good restaurant on site, beautiful gardens, very friendly owner and staff, made me feel very welcome. Only downside was a big mouldy stain on the ceiling of my room. Also I expected more quiet area, you can hear nearby traffic and planes landing, but overall very recommended.

best place to stay close to san jose

the rooms were very clean, lot or hooks and bars to hang things on. also 2 luggage stands to put both peoples luggage on and a lot of room in the room and shower/bathroom with an outside garden shower.Also a lot of electical outlets,way more than normal costa rican hotels. shelves and hangers what more can you ask for. They only have 5 rooms but owner is building 4 more as I write this.
