I will go back while traveling thru San Jose. Very friendly staff.It's more like a guest house than a hostel. Family run adds to the feeling of hospitality & safety. Will assist with language deficits.

This is a great little home-stay style property, practically next to the airport. I had a private room with a shared bathroom, and breakfast included. My plane arrived after 11 pm and they offered airport pick up for a small fee. It was a safe and easy walk into Alajuela. The family is welcoming and courteous and you can chill in the back garden and listen to the birds.

Everything was lovely. Beautiful place, very clean and close to the airport. I was travelling solo and it was so nice to meet some of the people travelling like me in the morning and have breakfast together. The staff was so friendly and I had a great night sleep. My room was clean and had a comfortable bed and the shower was good too with plenty of hot water. Would definitely recommend and the price was great too!

The room was clean, staffs were really really helpful, the owner was kind and helpful, the cook was a nice lady. The breakfast included rice and beans and bananas with tea/ coffee/ juice. I came late night after i missed my flight. The owner kindly provided me room instantly even if my booking dates i filled were not accurate. They were very helpful.
