Our stay at Mormoraia was truly unforgettable. Our patio and room faced the city of San Gimignano and it was breathtaking. The food was incredible (the truffle pasta was my go-to each night). We did the lunch + wine tasting and were so glad we decided to do it. I cannot recommend Mormoraia enough - we will definitely be back!

It is a beautiful property, but unfortunately we didn’t feel very welcomed by most of the staff. The only person who made us feel truly welcomed was the one who checked us in. During dinner service, the staff seemed overwhelmed and inexperienced, resulting in long wait times and a lack of warmth. Because of this, we decided to dine elsewhere after the first night.

We loved the friendliness and hospitality of the staff! The attention to detail and service was amazing. Julia especially went out of her way to make our stay and wine tour special. What a tranquil and special place! This was the highlight of our Italy tour and we would absolutely stay here again.

Mormoraia gave a feeling of understated luxury and we absolutely loved the experience. The bathroom stank quite a bit but we stayed only for 2 nights and were able to ignore the issue. I also wish the front desk staff were a bit more friendly - everyone at the restaurant (which we visited 4 times) was wonderful.
