Everything in Montara is within walking or biking distance. Wake up to the fresh ocean air and sight and sounds of the Pacific Ocean roaring in the background. Close to the beach, quiet, no issues checking in or out. Bed was super comfortable. Loved looking out at the beach and seeing the water. I could not figure out how to turn the lights on or if they’re were lights at all in the backyard on so taking dogs out at night was a little difficult. The gate at the end of the driveway doesn’t meet the pavement, so if you have smaller dogs will have to watch very closely that they don’t crawl under.

Great location a block from the State beach and a trailhead for hiking and biking with beautiful ocean views. The house is lovely, and quiet with a huge yard and it was great to be able to have my dog with me. Would love to come back again.

A cozy, sheltered home base with all the basics

My daughter and I stayed here over spring break. This place was a great value. It served as a nice home base at the end of each day of sightseeing up and down the coast. It's an older building, with mostly updated finishings. The kitchen has all the basics, older but mostly functional (sharp knives not withstanding).

The studio was a great get away when th a beautiful view, clean living arrangements and comfortable bed. The fenced yard was quite large and doesn’t appear in pictures. Great trip.
