It was a beautiful hotel. The only thing I would suggest is maybe different beds I was there from Monday through Friday and their beds were just so uncomfortable. One more thing they’re AC. It was hot couple days we were there and I just felt like I couldn’t get it cold.

This was a cute and stylish hotel in downtown San Francisco. There were some sketchy characters hanging around the neighborhood as it’s right on the edge of the tenderloin which is not a great part of San Francisco. However, I felt safe at the hotel and had no trouble getting transportation like an Waymo and taxis. The staff was very nice. There was parking right next-door for $50 for 24 hours that was not affiliated with the hotel. I liked that we had a room on a high floor to be able to take in the incredible San Francisco views.

The lady at the reception didn't give us the complimentary water bottles that she was giving to everyone else. When we went back to collect the same later, she said she was running out of the stock for water. We asked one of the staff members to know nearest store where we could go and buy water, that kind soul asked me to wait and brought us two water bottles from the stack right behind the reception lady. To our horror, that reception lady got upset and angry with that nice junior staff over this. At that point I told her that she is being rude and also that she lied that she is running out of stock when there clearly was stack of water right behind her desk. She simply said "okay" and went normally about her work. No apologies, no remorse whatsoever. We also realized next day that the same lady at reception didn't give us the 'breakfast coupons' while checking in. I was sent back from the restaurant to collect them at the reception and come back again. The normal practice of telling your room number and having your breakfast didn't apply to this place. When one ends up paying almost 300 usd per night (yes, I totally understand that taxes and real estate costs in SFO are high) the least one expects is a courteous staff which doesn't differentiate between customers looking at "brown" skin color, simply because the color of the dollar bill that we pay is still same "green".

Ignored by staff when trying to get compensation for the constant fixing of my keycard. The property was extremely noisy (especially the AC, you could hear everyones’s AC and TVs), the staff interrogated me during one of the times I needed to get my keycard reprogrammed, the room smelled the moment I entered it for the first time, no coffee machine in room despite it being on the listing/website, and the bathroom door + the table were very dirty/scratched up like a dog was in there.

Overall, our stay was ok. AC was not working and SF was unusually warm the nights we stayed and our room was around 80 degrees. The area around hotel is so-so, I don't advise walking around, just grab a ride! The hotel is nicely remodeled though. The restaurant/bar attached to hotel had a great happy hour and breakfast. We did escalate the issue with AC and it being uncomfortable in the room at night. The first night we were offered to move rooms, but quickly realized it was clearly the hotel having issues. We messaged hotel for partial refund and have yet to hear back. If the AC was working, this would have been a great stay overall!

Great hotel, pretty good location. I just wish they had a pet relief area within the hotel. Walking a night with a small in the city was not the best choice
