The idea of an American buffet is, a variety and unlimited portions — you pay one price and eat as much as you want. I went to get some fruit and pastries after finishing my breakfast, but a Hispanic waitress stopped me and said, ‘I didn’t give you that to-go box for taking another meal with you.’ That wasn’t what I was doing — I was eating it there, not taking it back to my room

First time staying here, we come the SF two or three times per year as tourists for baseball, food and shopping. We liked the location near many dining options (we did not try the in-house dining). The room had an awesome view of the city. A dip in the pool was nice, though it does get shaded in later afternoon. Bed was comfy, room was clean and adequate. We’re not ultra picky but do expect a baseline level of cleanliness and service and this was met/exceeded. We’d definitely stay here again as there are some restaurants we’d like to try or revisit, And it looked like a fun home base for walking about neighborhoods, etc.

Breakfast options were extremely poor unless you wanted to pay $35 for buffet breakfast! Had to leave every morning! Room did not have enough space for 2 people’s stuff for a week, towels are so small, never had towels so small in a hotel before! Had to pay $58 a day to park at a hotel I’m paying to stay at, $49 a day with $7 fees! Really!!!!!

Really great hotel. 10 minute cable car ride to Pier 39. hotel security was good. Door is locked at night so I need a key to get into the building. Breakfast did not come with stay. Our room had great views of San Francisco very comfortable beds. Very quiet.
