A gem near union square. Such a lovely hotel from decor to service. Great price for San Francisco. Out of towners might be worried about rumor of homeless people - it’s really not an issue as you might see a few but they keep to themselves.

Small rooms, nice staff but no upgrades offered such as a bottle of wine or bigger rooms. Would stay again because it’s close to the business offices I need to e at today. I walked from the Bart station at10:30pm at night and there were a few homeless people sleeping on the streets which was uncomfortable as a single woman. So my advice would be to get an uber even if it’s close by at night. Other than those things it’s been a fine experience and like I said the staff doorman and front desk were very friendly and attentive.
Teeny tiny rooms for the price. But bedding was very comfortable and clean the building is just old and needs updating.
