At first they were cold because we had flower in and arrived and the rooms weren’t ready. However he got us in a room as soon as possible. Then ever things had been great since. A very covient location and great breakfast.

Overall it was a nice hotel. The staff was very attentive. It is a little dated and the air conditioner in our room did not work well. However, I would stay here again as it was conveniently located.

Unfortunately, my room was located right next to the only elevator. Thank goodness it didn't run all night. The bed was very comfortable and the temperature of the room was very favorable. The shower was good -- could use grab bars. I rated the breakfast separately -- a good variety of food and well-planned dining room.

The staff was good. Very friendly. But no matter how much temperature you set on the AC, it would turn off every few minutes. So AC kept turning on and off every few minutes. Your hotel needs soundproofing. I could hear everyone walking and the noises from traffic. Rest was fine. You should also provide some water in the room.

Front desk males( only helped by my males) Were all excellent. Alvin Urbain was professional, helpful, handled difficult customers with exceptional tact & skill. Panju was most thoughtful , informative &helpful. Both the latter two have great senses of humour. Knowing that this high quality of service was available ensured our stay & visit was so enjoyable & interesting. Thank you.

We asked for extra towels the first day and the front desk guy said they did not have any, once he left an hour later, we asked a new front desk guy and he gave us some without question. They don’t clean the rooms, it’s an extra. The breakfast is a plus and it’s good. Our stay was two rooms, 3 nights.

We stayed in room 806 because we needed to have a kitchen. First the positives: The hotel is centrally located and very near a cable car stop. We enjoyed the view from the balcony off the kitchen. The room was spacious and the staff were pleasant. The negatives: We needed a full kitchen but there was no can opener or vegetable peeler. We had to find and buy those for ourselves as mentioning the lack to the front desk did not yield any results. There was no cookware to microwave vegetables in. The floor in the kitchen was filthy and needs a good wash. There were a few stray hairs from other people on the blankets that we had that were old and needed replacing. The cloth blinds were old and damaged and difficult to open and close. We had to ask for working batteries for the in room safe and the smoke detectors in the unit appeared not to be working either and likely also needed batteries replaced. We did enjoy the ability to walk to many things from this location. My husband enjoyed the daily breakfast.

First time living in a hotel in SF so not sure about comparison.The room had some bad smell probably because it was old. Staff can be very friendly or impatient depending on the person. Breakfast was just alright - toast, waffle/pancake, eggs, cereal and fruit. I wish they had labels and more healthy choices. Convenient location.
