"Giacomo was a great host - got in contact early and remained available whenever required. The house was lovely and quiet (although a v noisy and enthusiastic dog owners as sadly staying next door which made us get up a little earlier than expected some mornings) with the most amazing views. The house had everything we needed, although I think the lack of air conditioning in the bedrooms (although it is in the upstairs hall and living room) might make it pretty hot in high summer. We loved it as the location was excellent - close enough to make Lucca only a 15!minute drive but also close to the lovely Montecarlo, Pescia (for the supermarket) and stations to get to Florence and elsewhere. All in all a great stay and highly recommended."
