Very outdated property. In need of major upgrades. Our room felt dirty and had dirty carpet smell. The refrigerator was broken and making loud noise all night. The bed was worn out. Went to the pool, I had to use the skimmer to clean the leaves out of the water. Will not return unless it’s renovated.

I absolutely love Bonna at the front desk. Her customer service is out of this world. I always book this hotel because it's convenient to to get to the activities I have planned. Room size was good for 3 of us. It was clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was average. The downside was housekeeping was not everyday, only 2 times a week. We stayed for 2 nights when housekeeping was not available during our entire stay. However, when we requested for new towels, the staff responded very quickly.

Stayed in two rooms during my stay because the first room was filthy. Had little kids walking around and their feet were black from dirt. There was also mold in the shower. They had us moved, only to a room that also had mold in the shower. Called back later to let them and they said engineering came by and confirmed it wasn’t mold, but it very clearly was. Hotel rate was fair, but I’ll probably spend more elsewhere and not have to worry about where I shower.

Great stay!

We stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott San Diego Sorrento Mesa/Sorrento Valley from July 4th to July 7th in a one-bedroom suite with a pull-out sofa. The room was very comfortable, and both the front desk staff and housekeeping were incredibly sweet and accommodating. For the price we paid, the value was excellent—I highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay here again.
