Our stay was nice and comfortable the theme is cute the upstairs bar view was absolutely beautiful Walkable distance to everything absolutely a night to remember full of bars and clubs and restaurants if you want to relax in a quiet place that is not a place to stay in.

Lovely, charming stay with great service!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was cozy and comfortable. Chic design throughout and a historic property. We had great service and staff was welcoming and accommodating for our early check-in request. Very convenient location. The restaurant downstairs is delicious also. Minor downside was a slightly noisy AC and just one elevator working- it’s an old-fashioned one and the doors are kind of heavy. Overall I would stay again for sure!

Character Plus

A hotel with much character in the Gaslamp Quarter of Dan Diego...a fabulous roof top patio......an attached restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. An excellent location from which to visit the San Diego sites.

Clean room Spacious Elevator is antiquated, super slow and a challenge to open. We struggled getting our luggages in and out of the elevator. The shower head in our room didn't work well at all, water only trickled down from it.
