wonderful experience which raised our families expecations of how other hotels should conduct themselves! Only tiny downside that we faced was as MN residents we are used to massive parking spots. We never had a issue finding a parking spot at this hotel just that they felt very small. We absolutely cherished the staff in the kitchen and loved all the complimentary breakfast each day. In addition we experienced the amazing complimentary dinners Mon, Tues, and Wed! Our room was always clean and we loved how we had two seperate rooms for adults to sleep in as well as our children! Over all I would rate Homewood Suites San Diego 9.8/10! Way to go!

We had a great 3 night stay at the hotel last weekend. The King 1 bedroom suite was perfect for our family of 4. Very comfortable and the kids enjoyed having Netflix built into the TV (requires login). The breakfasts were very tasty and filling and we even had a complimentary chicken noodle soup dinner on Monday night, which was perfect after a long, cool day at Legoland. The kids also enjoyed the outside activities on the terrace (Jenga, cornhole, etc) and we also used the heated outdoor pool and hot tub. The hotel was very conveniently located to our San Diego activities, easy/on off the freeway. Frankly, the only thing we could complain about was the bed pillows were very flat but perhaps it was just compared to what we normally use at home. Will definitely stay here again in the future!

The kitchen was lacking silverware and dish cleaning towels. It was also lacking a can opener which we needed. We chose to purchase one. The kitchen only had two pans. a large pan for cooking spaghetti, and a frying pan.

well my check in was good until i got hit with the 26.00 parking fee a night your breakfast crew are friendly and very excellent at keep thing in order know your housekeeper need to step up their game but i can say my room was clean except for the no showering soap no complete set towel i did,nt get every services and i notice in my room you need to up grand the furniture the pillows on couch was dry rot

So bad it felt like a prank

asked for bedding for the sofabed 3 times starting at 3pm before they brought any after 11pm, said its all they had left so it was one less blanket than requested. Woke up to our room disgustingly hot, messed w/ the thermostat repeatedly & it kept kicking the heater on, we realized it was a faulty thermostat & called the front desk. We got moved to a room two floors down around 3am & were not offered assistance or a luggage cart to get our stuff or even our extra bedding, so 5 people lugged their luggage, food, & hotel bedding to our new room at 3am but the a/c did work really well. Staff tried to enter our room between 7 and 8 a couple times. When we finally opened the door it was maintenance confused we were in the room, my assumption is it was other people 1st and maintenance came to find out why it wouldnt open. I explained the issue & he talked to the front desk to find out they moved us there, but the staff who moved us wrote the wrong room # down on their end so it confused them, creeped my kids out people were trying to get into our room, & again woke us up. We missed a good portion of our expensive Saturdays plans due to lack of sleep, including breakfast hours, which cost me more money to buy breakfast out.Late Saturday night we wanted to watch tv but we didn’t have remote controls. Overall, it was frustrating & I feel cheated i paid to stay here, I wouldn’t have came even if you paid me with how the stay went. Stay felt like a mean prank I had to pay for!

Hotel is next to the highway hence really noisy. Limited parking and staff’s attitude not that friendly.
