We stayed at this hotel because it is near the San Diego Zoo. The hotel is nice and clean. Rooms were spacious. The best part of staying at this hotel is the really good breakfast buffet they have daily. Also, they have a coffee and hot chocolate machine you can access anytime. Unfortunately, the pool was under construction when we were there. Overall, I would highly recommend!

Breakfast was the best part. Outside patio with garage doors is a nice touch. Hardware was a little bit rundown inside the unit; shower heads and sink spouts that wobbled at their wall/counter attachment sites. Furniture also felt kind of dorm-chic low-rent quality. Place was also a little bit noisy. But affordable and slept well.
