We drove down for a family wedding. We arrived at 1:30 pm since we weren't sure about traffic during Labor Day weekend. The receptionist didn't want to check us in until exactly at 2 pm. This was my first time encountering this, that it has to be precisely at 2 pm before they can help the customer. I didn't mind a worker had to train a new employee that day.
The room was basic. The room was clean. The hallway smelled clean, like cleaning agent smell. The room had a microwave and a fridge. A/C was working and we were glad for it since it was a hot weekend. We didn't stay in the room too long since we had to attend the wedding at 3 pm.
We came back late and showered. It was hard to get the shower to a perfect temperature. It was either too hot or too cold. By the time we were in bed, we can hear people in the hallway. We heard a dog, a kid crying, people talking.
I had the bed near the A/C. When the AC kicked in, it was cold. We it didn't, the room was cold. I couldn't get the machine to a perfect temperature until I left it on low fan.
The breakfast was on the 1st floor, in a room. The room was small and tight. Food was just ok. Only the waffle was the only good thing I liked about it.
