The staff were young men that would rather sketch or play in their phones than answer questions. They didn’t seem to have any info on public transit. There were homeless individuals in the parking lot. By far the best feature was the hotel’s location. It was only 4 blocks from PETCO park (my reason for going to San Diego). Also close to dining, shopping and the shoreline/harbor.

great location for PetCo and convention center. window AC cools room quickly but some may think it is loud. the black out blinds are helpful. we did not have any trouble sleeping. breakfast is varied and generous:) safe in room was a nice surprise. we liked the compact design of the room, refrigerator, microwave and coffee machine provided. also a nice desk for working in between fun activities.
