The Best Western than seven seas is special to me because I stayed there as a child with my parents and grandparents. It is old motor in style San Diego or best Western in its old form.. The staff is great and it has a nice pool and Jacuzzi.. It is very affordable..

There was a little funky smell in the room when I arrived. But the room was clean and bed was comfortable. Also, I was surprised that there was not any coffee maker -- nor was there complementary coffee in the lobby/check-in station. Most places have one or the other. Maybe it's because there is a privately-owned/operated cafe off the lobby and they've guaranteed that they won't provide a service that would compete with that cafe? Who knows.

The staff was courteous but the room could have been a lot better. It had a weird odor and there were stains on the sheets and the towels. I guess you get what you pay for. There weren't any problems with parking but this hotel is old well at least the room I stayed in was old. I feel like they put me in an older room because I was only booked for the night. I didn't get to see the property during the day but the pool, restaurant, and bar looked decent.

I have stayed at this location once before and the room was nicer. The phone and bedside light/plugs did not work, the protective lock was missing a piece, the desk lamp had broken USB plugs, and the. tv was scrambled all night
