If you’re looking for a luxurious yet comfortable sleepy beach town feel with the sand and the waves just steps from your door, this is your spot. From the gourmet breakfast offered in the morning to the yoga mats and other amenities included in the room and on the beach, you cannot go wrong. Don’t miss the sunset with a hot apple cider and a warm Mexican blanket courtesy of the property. If you’re looking for a nice long walks along a beautiful coast with a brief of pelicans gliding across the waves and the sea spraying its waves, the sea foam seasoning by your feet. This is it. Your are steps away from Carlsbad Village, where you will find a great chill California vibe with healthy food options, and nice local shops. December is ideal to visit as the morning coffee walk requires a jacket and by 10 you are on the beach in flip flops takingbinbthe warm sun. The entire staff was incredibly kind and courteous. Amanda was especially helpful and it was lovely to see her in the mornings. Would definitely come back and I don’t often do that.

The staff is very friendly, the breakfast is amazing, and what I loved the most is the view and proximity to the beach. The facilities are also clean. This is a family friendly hotel. Very quiet and pleasant atmosphere. My only complaint would be that my AC wasn’t working properly. I didn’t really need it until my last day, and when I tried turning it on, it didn’t turn on right away. But aside from this, I enjoyed my stay and I would stay here again.
