The black gentleman that checked me in was nice 👌 He was very respectful and knowledgeable. The room was very clean and smelled good 👍 I would definitely recommend staying at the Hampton hotel in San Antonio, Tx.

Booked four rooms and 2 out of the 4 were dirty. One had mold, but we let the front desk know and they immediately moved us to another room. The other room was okay but still lacked cleanliness. The breakfast was great and the staff was very nice but the overall hotel needs some upkeep.

Our first room had coffee grinds all over carpet in an inconspicuous place which means maybe someone was sick and vomited and tried to cover , second room had cracked floor tiles , saw roach in bathroom, sofa had stains on cushions, water in shower stayed Luke warm almost cold, picture frame on bathroom wall was broken and falling apart. Refrigerator freezer REALLY needs to be defrosted .Pool had way too much chlorine it made our eyes burn as soon as we walked in, Mgr had to open door to the outside for us to be able to stay in there. Beds were comfy, there was plenty of open space in the 2bed jr suite, staff Steven and Emma were pleasant . Steven tried his best to make things right.
