We give it 3 stars because on our first night we were assigned to a handicap accessible room on level 2. The room had no hot water and the 2 shower heads spewed water all over the floor. If you were handicap this was a safety hazard for sure. If you weren't handicapped, you would be from falling. The 2 shower heads had such strong pressure that water also went into the carpet. Which then caused us to sneeze all night. Night 2 we were moved to another room on level 8. The remote controls did not work for either television. So what to do? Nothing. Sit in quiet and listen to our thoughts. We were only comped the 2 nights of valet parking. BUT ... the staff and breakfast were amazing.

The sofa and chairs in the room (we had a 2 bed/2 bath suite) was terribly uncomfortable. Beds were great. Breakfast had good choices but mixed fruit seemed to have old watermelon mixed with unripe cantaloupe and honeydew was ripe one day but not the next. Berries would be a great alternative. Egg station was very good. Lack of flavor options for coffee was a surprise.

Room was very clean and comfortable. We stayed on the second floor and it was perfect. Right on the river walk and. close to so many things. Parking was easy and convenient. Highly recommend. Next time i am in San Antonio i will definitely book here again.

It was a wonderful stay. The hotel is beautiful and the room was spacious. Loves the balcony view of the river. However, the room was so damp even the carpet felt damp. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom. They only had one roll of toilet paper for us with 5 people staying in the room. We had to ask for more. Couldn’t find any linens for the pull out sofa and asked twice for them but never did get any. The pool was supposed to be heated but it was too cold to enjoy swimming in on a mid October night with temps still in the 70s. Valet parking was easy and convenient, but way overpriced. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Loved the full breakfast every morning. Loved the location and the walkability of the area. Especially loved the view from our room!
