Staff and owner are AMAZING! Best customer service anywhere on our 18 day trip. Breakfast was FANTASTIC, location looks odd but is in a perfect spot just off the square. Police presence 24 hrs a day every 2 blocks. Very safe. Exchanged dollars for Reals at the hotel and they gave a very fair rate. Love this place!

Stay was much more pleasant than I expected. Located in the middle of all the amenities needed, from food, entertainment, sightseeing and shopping. Authentic and high-end boutique experience

This hotel is at the heart of historic Salvador, footsteps from everything. Because of its location, only official taxis are allowed to drive through, so don't take Uber to get there. The staff is so friendly, the breakfast spread was fantastic, the hotel gives a high-end boutique experience where the amenities are modern but the decor and architecture is authentic to historic Salvador.
