We loved the size of the double room en suite overlooking the countryside. We loved being in such an old building, and the way they decorated the walls with local historical significance. To think my ancestors may have entered this place through the generations.
We stayed in the cottage. It was lovely and very clean and cozy. We had an amazing stay. Lovely secluded little village- so peaceful. We used it as a base and drove to various parts of Cornwall each day. Pub was really old and traditional- and served lovely food.
Breakfast was great- plentiful and hot.
All staff members that we met were lovely and all very friendly. Would definitely stay again!
Lovely place to stay with friendly owners and staff. Always very helpful and breakfasts were top!

What a lovely hotel .. everything I was expecting and more .. the staff were excellent and helpful … the breakfast was excellent.. will definitely be back
Always a warm welcome from all of the staff. The menu is varied, priced well and always tastes good with a good choices for vegetarians. We have stayed here numerous times and wouldn't go anywhere else.
In the deep countryside yet popular with locals and visitors. Great pub restaurant vibe. Breakfast could be improved with fresh fruit and yoghurts available. The staff were absolutely on the ball.
