Well located for supermarket, seafront, shopping, and trips outside Salou
A very clean, well-equipped and good-sized apartment. I stayed there with my adult son. Having a bathroom each (one ensuite, one very close to the other bedroom) as well as separate bedrooms was a real luxury. Access to outdoor space (balcony, garden and pool area) a bonus. The air con was excellent.
The owner was very helpful and communicative. As I do not speak Spanish, I used Google Translate to read her messages (and I think she might have done the same) but this was fine, although slowed my own responses down at times.
The cleaner who checked us in was very nice and welcoming but, as we had no Spanish and she had no English, we did not understand many of her instructions and we didn't attempt many questions. A few queries arose after she left but fortunately were resolved by friendly neighbours and (via WhatsApp) the owner who always responded promptly.
It would be helpful to have a folder in the flat containing useful information, particularly for foreign guests like us - we will suggest this to the owner so I suspect this will be fixed.
We used the garage the first night. Knowing that we had a guaranteed parking place was important to us, but in practice found it easier and quicker to park on the street outside - it was free of charge with no time limits, and we always found spaces available.
We were visiting Salou for the WRC Rallye Catalunya and found the apartment location very convenient for our needs, especially when leaving early in the morning to travel to different locations in the region.
We would definitely stay at the apartment again if/when returning to Salou and would recommend it to others.
