I would first like to say the only reason that I rented a room was so that my grandbabies could go swimming at Christmas time I travel from Kansas City and I come to Salina and stay with my family. I did not need to rent a hotel room. I specifically called the hotel and asked them if the pool was working because that was the reason I was renting a room. They assured me the pool wasn’t working order however when I checked in, they proceeded to tell me the pool was open the day we were checking in and would not be open the following day because it was being closed for renovations. This however, cost me extra money out of my pocket to find something else for us all to do when I had already spent the money for two nights at a hotel to go swimming, so I was very unhappy with the service that I got and no offer for any accommodation.

I had a wonderful day in Salina at the Hilton Garden Inn. The staff was helpful and professional, and both dinner and breakfast from the restaurant were great.. The food was delicious, served hot and seasoned two perfection. My room was extremely comfortable with soft linens and pillows plus a chair and ottoman for reading or watching TV.
