Nothing special!

After researching for hours, we chose to drive 4 hours and bring my granddaughter here for her 7th birthday. There were recent reviews of the pool in working order and heated. Well, to my surprise, the pool was closed. So, my plans were ruined. I paid $130 for us to basically just to sleep. When a hotel advertises to have amenities, they should be in working order, or money discounts should be given. So aggravating! The bed was comfortable, though. We didn’t try breakfast because it ended pretty early for a weekend. The towels/washrags are very thin. The carpeted floors were super dirty. Our feet were dark, after only a few times walking on them. We will choose a different hotel next time. This one needs to be updated and modernized. I had such high hopes for this celebratory night, that just fizzled out.

We booked a king suite that was advertised to sleep 4 people. They had three total pillows for all four of us. When I asked the front desk lady she apologized and informed me that they had no more pillows because they were fully booked. My expectation of having enough pillows for every bed was apparently too much for this hotel. Asked the lady multiple times to remedy the situation, such as purchase enough pillows for every patron and she just stared at me.
