A historic country house in the Périgord, located between Sarlat, Lascaux, and Rocamadour

Quiet, spacious and comfortable country house at the foot of the Château de Salignac, in the heart of the Quercy-Périgord tourist region. Classified 1 star by the Dordogne Departmental Tourism Committee. Discover, just a few km away, the medieval town of Sarlat, La Roque-Gageac, Domme, the Gouffres de Padirac, Lascaux, Rocamadour... Take a canoe trip down the Dordogne river and visit the countless castles of the region.
The house has, upstairs, two bedrooms with double beds of 140 x 190 cm, a bedroom with 2 beds of 90 x 190 cm that can be converted into a bed of 180 x 190 cm. A bathroom with shower and double sink, a separate toilet. Duvets and pillows are provided. Sheets, pillowcases and towels not provided. On the first floor, a large living room with sofa, armchairs and television, a large dining room. A large fully equipped kitchen (+ dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, raclette machine...). A bathroom with shower and toilet, barbecue, garden table and parasol, ping-pong table.

We loved the 3 weeks we stayed in the quaint old house. First week was cold- but firewood kindly provided by Jerry kept us warm- two weeks with very high temp and the thick walls of the house kept us cool. Check in and communication is perfect. We felt right at home, kitchen well equipped, beds comfy and lots of room. You absolutely get good value for your money The village is beautiful and people friendly as goes for the neighbours 100 m up the road. We had our small dog with us and in hot weather we recommend the fountain trail about 10 min away by car a cool and lovely walk 3-4 km.Best regardsBirgitte and Hans from Denmark

Très agréable séjour. Emplacement idéal pour sillonner et visiter.

Voyage en Périgord

Gîte très bien équipé et chaleureux, le petit plus est le poêle à bois pour passer des soirées en famille bien au chaud. Nos hôtes ont répondu à toutes nos attentes et son vraiment charmants.De plus, le gîte est bien placé pour visiter le Périgord noir. On recommande vivement.
