This newly remodeled house STR # 0350 has tons of room (2400 SF) and can sleep up to 10 people! Three bedrooms (Master Suite with a king, spare bedroom with a queen, and kid's room with double bunk beds each with double mattresses on the bottom). A wide open floor plan with 360 degree views of the mountains including S Mountain. Super close to downtown, high speed Wi-Fi , HD Flat screen TV with cable in all the rooms and an office with a scanner an printer for your use! Great fenced in back yard with entertaining space, grill, hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor dining as well. The garage is stocked with several bikes (kids and adults) for your use while you stay. Close to Historic downtown and the Arkansas River so you are close to all the great shops and dining. Ski Monarch is a 22 minute drive and other activities include hiking, biking, hot springs, fly fishing, parks and much more!

This home was perfect for our family holiday gathering, and we are grateful to our hosts for making it available, including for pets. We truly enjoyed our stay, and appreciated the proximity of the house to all that Salida has to offer.

This place was great. It is a 2 person hot tub, but everything was clean and ready for us. The backyard space is awesome. The mattress is the master has a sway in it, so it wasn’t the most comfortable for a stomach sleeper. Also, the detergent used on the bedding has a really strong scent, so not the best for allergy issues. Overall though, we had an awesome stay!

We were a group of 2 families with elementary aged kids and the house was great for us. The common area is very comfortable, the kitchen was great for meals, the fenced yard helped for our dog and the hot tub was perfect for a snowy day. It's an easy walk to downtown and there's a park with a playground even closer. Wendy was a very responsive host. Highly recommend!

We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious this rental is and overall, we had a great stay! Wendy was friendly and communicative where needed. The back yard was nice to sit and relax in while the colors of the trees were starting to change. The location of this property can't be beat and the neighborhood is quiet. The couches inside were so comfy as we had a night in to play board games and cook together. The beds were also super comfy and we appreciated the amenities of the house. We'd absolutely stay here again!

FANTASTIC! We have stayed in many properties in Salida, and more than one has been managed by Wendy. The property manager for this unit (Wendy) is easily the best. Her locations are always well-stocked, clean, and everything is in good order. Moreover, she has always been quick to respond to any questions/concerns. We recommend this property and any other property that uses her as a site manager. This unit is so easy to access everything, and it is so spacious. The kids loved having a TV in every room, too. As an added bonus (or two), the office space and the outdoor patio were fantastic escapes. The owners have done a great job of providing a home that feels comfortable for their guests.Thanks for a great time.

A birthday weekend

Although we arrived In a spring snow storm, the long weekend turned out great! The snow melted in a couple of days and we were able to walk to town and enjoy the backyard with our dogs. The place was well stocked, close to town, and the fireplace was great during the snowy days!

Great place to stay

The location is great! We were able to walk to downtown for dinner and not to far of a drive for skiing. Close to a disc golf park too! The home was clean and the instructions for check-in were clear and easy. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing after skiing!

Great for a large family

A River Runs Through has lots of beds and space for a large family. The only suggestion is to get some new pillows for some of the beds as some of them were very flat. We had a great time and it was a great home base for us, even had an office for some privacy to work.

2024 Family Ski Trip

We had a wonderful stay in beautiful Salida! The location was perfect—just an easy 15-minute walk to the main part of town. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, making it a relaxing retreat. This rental was ideal for our family of six adults and three children, providing plenty of space to enjoy everything Salida and Monarch Mountainhad to offer.

Amazing house, close to downtown, had everything we needed

This was was even better than the pictures. The kitchen was fully stocked for us to cook all of our meals and also keep up with the dishes. The rooms were very spacious and we were able to a comfortably fit everyone! The backyard was a dream, a great place to hang out and the hot tub was amazing, although a little small and the clips were old and broken, hot tub was still great. I was very concerned with the clips since there was specific instructions about them but when we inspected it, they were broken, but we made sure to still secure the lid as best as we could with the 1 working clip. All of the instructions for checking in and checking out were very clear and I appreciated that very much! Thank you for having us, we enjoyed Salida very much!!

Great base camp for your outdoor adventure

We stayed here for a mountain bike event and found it to be the ideal spot. its a short ride to downtown. The house has a an amazing yard and a garage to keep our bikes safe at night. The host is fast to respond and super helpful. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
