The Plaza was great and the staff more than helpful. The hotel is perdectly located opposite the train station and on the end of a main shopping street with cafes galore. The rooms are neat and tidy, we only had a short 4 day stay but i would happily recommend or stay again myself.

The property was right across from the train station. The staff was exceptional, front and breakfast. The rooms were clean with first quality linens and we could not have had a better two days. Salerno is a great jumping off point for the rest of the Amalfi Coast and we highly recommend The Plaza.

Staff was so sweet a woman checked us in as she was so great! It had a beautiful view overlooking the town of Salerno in the balcony i wish we stayed longer haha. We booked here since it was close to the station and the port. We walked at night from the other port of Salerno and I felt so incredibly safe the city was alive with people walking and eating. It was a beautiful beach town , the summertime seemed to make everyone happy. Room was tall with a high ceiling we had a gorgeous sunrise . Also thanks to hotel for letting us check in a little earlier that helped so much since we had a ferry to Amalfi early. For my first time in Italy and Salerno and it was a memorable experience.

We just loved the hotel. It was close to the train station and the port for tourist boats for our daily outings. The staff were very friendly, helpful for any request. The room was clean, bed comfortable and the view from our window lovely. Air conditioning was very welcome after being out all day. Close to the main street, we had ample options for our choice of restaurants in the area to dine for lunch or dinner.

This hotel was literally 100 metres from Salerno train station. Very easy to check staff are on point speak good English. I’m not a big fan of hotel continental breakfast but here it was very good. Simple selection good quality ingredient. They made omelette etc and coffees on order. Rooms safe & quite walking distance to shops and port for day excursions. If I ever come back to salerno I will most definitely stay here for the price and standard it was exceptional

Across the street from train station, main port is 5-8 mins drive by taxi, beach to swim is a 10 min walk and a lot of restaurants and retail shops. A good base for Amalfi coast!

Perfectly positioned hotel. Warm and welcoming staff. Large, clean, quiet rooms with comfortable beds. Great for transfer from ferry to train or vice versa, although our ferry came in at the port at the other end of lungomare, it was a pleasant walk along the front. Steps from the train station. We only stayed one night in transit but would return as we liked Salerno and it would make a great base for exploring the Amalfi coast. Cheaper and less touristy than its neighbours.

Loved this hotel. Stayed here 10 years ago and loved it then. Came to Salerno again for 5 days vacation this week. Its right next to train station and ferry docks. Rooms are clean and upkept everyday. Breakfast is great. Beds are so comfortable. Location is perfect being on the main street in Salerno. Wish every hotel I stay in Europe was like this
