We booked Hotel Montestella after we arrived at a horrible unsafe and dirty VRBO and needed an emergency place to stay for the next 4 nights. This place was a life saver for us and so clean! We absolutely enjoyed our stay and am very grateful that there was a room available. Everything was perfect. I would definitely stay here again and will be recommending to my friends and family. This hotel was very nicely situated on a road closed to vehicle traffic. Cafes and shopping surrounded us offering plenty of options. Cleanliness was a top priority for this hotel. The staff were kind and helpful. Our only complaint and this is a stretch.....is that we would have liked a lounge on the property. Otherwise, we recommend and plan to stay at this hotel in our future travel to Italy.

The room smelled very odd and was overwhelming. We tried to turn on the air conditioning to circulate air and cool the room but it didn’t work. We ended up renting a room elsewhere for the night. When we checked out someone put a portable air unit in the room but it was after we left. The carpets in the halls show wear and tear beyond normal and could use a replacement. We did come back and enjoy the breakfast.

Great Location, Though Mind the Early Checkout I had a pleasant stay here, and for the price point, it is a very decent option. The absolute highlight is the location, which is amazing and made getting around incredibly convenient. However, there are a couple of things to keep in mind: • Checkout Time: At 10:30 AM, this is the earliest checkout I’ve ever experienced. It felt a bit rushed, so be sure to plan your morning accordingly. • Breakfast: While convenient to have on-site, I found the selection to be a bit underwhelming and basic. Overall, if you are looking for a well-located home base and don't mind an early start on your final day, it’s a solid choice for the value.
