It was a good value room of a reasonable size and it was not too hot! It is a great location if you are visiting Sale or there about. There are excellent pubs and restaurants nearby as well as excellent transport links by tram.qnd bus.

Staff were lovely. I don’t recommend staying here when it is hot, the room was like a sauna all day and night and the windows brought no relief. There were shops nearby to get a fan, but that would just blow hot air around! Other than that, a wonderful stay

Hotel is well-sited for Metrolink & various eateries nearby. Room was basic but clean & large enough. The only downside was the extreme noise from within the hotel with thin walls allowing audible chatter at 2am.

Hotel is dated and a bit tired but not to the extent of some of the reviews. We had a very comfortable stay and the staff were very friendly. They went out of their way to help. Very reasonable prices!

Decent hotel

The hotel is well placed for both Sale and the Metrolink for access to the airport and Manchester city centre. My room was large and well equipped with everything I needed for a short stay. We checked in slightly early which didn't seem to be a problem and we weren't asked to pay for the privilege which seems to the the new trend with some hotels

This hotel is in serious need of an extensive make-over. The car park is difficult to access via an overgrown, narrow drive that is also overgrown. Kerbside appeal is poor and the entrance appears to be propped up by scaffolding! Disabled access is non-existent and not sure how the hotel managed to meet local authority safety requirements. At my request, I was allocated a downstairs room which had recently been re-carpeted, but there was no explanation of room facilities (eg available TV channels, etc). I was unable to use the en-suite shower as there was a foul smell coming from the drain which meant that I had to leave the extraction fan all day and night (I think this property has a serious drains problem). Sure it is situated in a central location, but if you arrive by car, that is of little interest. I think the photos on the website are years out of date and rest assured I won't be staying in this hotel again.

Really friendly staff. Breakfast was a well cooked fry up with plenty of vegetarian options. Nice and quiet at night. Within 10 min drive to Trafford Centre. Very convenient if you’re there to watch sporting events. 10-15 min drive to Old Trafford. Definitely will be back again
