Édouard (amateur beekeeper by passion) & Marie-Christine welcome you to a charming, authentic, fully restored late 19th century country farmhouse nestled in a quiet spot on the edge of a lane in the heart of a peaceful rural hamlet neighboring the picturesque, typical, commercial village of Saint-Loup-Géanges with its elegant 12th century Romanesque church (many small shops & supermarket on site). Peace & quiet in the countryside, nestled on a "mini" south-facing plateau overlooking a bucolic valley of fields & meadows crossed by a small river (accessible from the property), close to beautiful wild & preserved forests including the vast forest of Gergy, the literal "green lung" of the area. Large, ecologically landscaped property with a "100% natural" feel (open to the public with the owner), classified as an "LPO refuge" (home to around twenty species depending on the season), including an unusual "mandala" vegetable garden, a chicken coop (chickens and ducks), beehives (off the property), an unusual "truffle farm" and a "forest garden" with a small pond.
