Beautiful, recently renovated family home, just a short walk from the village of St Jean-le-Vieux, local shops, and 4.3 km from St Jean-Pied-de-Port. Ground floor: fully equipped kitchen opening onto the living room (microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, induction hob), lounge area with fireplace insert and TV, veranda with sitting area, 2 bedrooms (1 double bed, 1 queen bed), shower room, WC. First floor: 2 bedrooms (1 king bed that can be separated into 2 single beds, 1 double bed), 2 adjoining bedrooms (2 single beds, 1 double bed), shower room, WC. Games room/relaxation area. Basement: laundry room with washing machine, dryer, and fridge-freezer. Beds made upon arrival, towels available for hire. Electric heating is extra, firewood provided. Baby equipment available. Cleaning deposit to be paid upon arrival. Terrace with garden furniture and griddle. Sun loungers, hammocks. Large private garden with trees. The cottage is located at the foot of the mountains, near hiking trails (35 minutes from Iraty), on the Way of St. James (Camino de Santiago). Pascale and Bixintxo, we are organic winemakers and cider producers at Domaine Bordatto (Jaxu): AOC Irouléguy, regional wines, ciders, and apple wines (local varieties). We would be delighted to welcome you for a tasting of our wines and offer concert/wine bar evenings every Friday evening during the summer until August 19th. Sleeps up to 12 people upon request.
